Our story begins in 2008 with Beechtree Catering, founded by hospitality professionals Manny Martinez, John Mooney, and Cathy Dermott. What started as a catering company quickly earned a reputation for reliable service, thoughtful planning, and cuisine that elevated every event it touched.
In 2013, local business owner Jim Foulk brought that proven culinary team together with a purpose-built venue overlooking the Bush River. Water’s Edge was designed specifically for weddings, corporate events, galas, and milestone celebrations, offering the flexibility of a full-service event center with the warmth and attention of an experienced catering team.
Today, Water’s Edge is more than just a venue. It is a team of seasoned hospitality professionals who understand that events are not simply gatherings, they are once-in-a-lifetime moments, major business milestones, and meaningful celebrations.
